What are Play Along Books? Play Along Books are interactive stories that get children moving! They were written by a literacy specialist and kindergarten teacher with the help of physical education professionals. Each book comes in full color complete with an audio CD with the story narration put to music. Every CD includes English and Spanish versions of the story. Read the story. Get the children up. Play the CD and watch them move!
Q: How long does the activity take? A: Each books includes an activity guide that helps you manage the movement. It can be as quick as 5 minutes or last up to 20 minutes. Use it in the gym as a warm-up or cool down. Use it in the classroom as a movement break that supports the standards for language arts.
